Burlington , VT – In an important development that greatly enhances its stature, the International Center
for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) has recently been approved as a CPE Sponsor by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
This means that CPE credits have been pre-approved by NASBA for all five ICCIE core courses (available both online and in traditional face-to-face mode) and teleconferences. Certified Public Accountants who have continuing education maintenance requirements may now take advantage of ICCIE's offerings to fulfill those requirements.
“This is a very exciting development in the establishment of ICCIE, and it recognizes the high standards of the program and its courses,” says Executive Director Mitch Cantor. He adds that “many of the prospective students and their employers have mentioned this as something that would be a strong incentive for them to enroll in the program.”
Upcoming courses that ICCIE will be offering include an online course beginning in April and three face-to-face courses offered in Philadelphia just before and after the RIMS conference. Additional information about those courses can be found on the schedule page of the ICCIE website: (http://www.iccie.org/programs/schedule.shtml).
