Robert Sweezey
Robert L. Sweezey became president of Adventist Risk Management, Inc. in 1993. As the risk manager for the Seventh-day Adventist Church, he also serves as president of Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont (GICV), and Gencon Insurance Company International Ltd., the Church's captive insurers, and its three captive agencies. Sweezey has had 19 years of consistent risk management experience with the Seventh-day Adventist Church and handles a full range of church risks with heavy exposures in liability, property and employee benefits.
Sweezey has also taught part-time at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga., and Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Md.
