ICCIE Webinar -- Live from VCIA

Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) and the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) are proud to jointly offer this vital webinar during the 2012 VCIA Conference.

Date: Wednesday, August 8, 2012

Time: 1:00 p.m. -  2:45 p.m. EDT

Registration Deadline: Thursday, August 2, 2012

Level: Advanced

Prerequisites: General understanding of employee benefits.

Learning Objectives: Using a case study approach, participants will explore the natural advantages and address the barriers to strengthening the collaboration between Risk Management and Human Resources. Participants will learn about strategies to help decrease costs and increase efficiency in providing employee benefits specifically.

Program Content: No captive line of business requires greater collaboration among corporate departments than Employee Benefits (EB’s). Join our interactive case study session to learn how other Risk Management (RM) and Human Resource (HR) departments have joined efforts to effectively write EB’s in their captive. We’ll begin with a quick overview of EB captive programs—how they are structured and how they are systematically implemented. We will drill down to explore the business interests and objectives of their respective departments, contrasting and comparing their key points. You’ll learn what specific processes and techniques were utilized to obtain collaboration between RM and HR resulting in a successful game plan.
