ICCIE announces link to RIMS Fellow designation,

more ACI recipients, increased C-RAC participation

Burlington , VT -- The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) is pleased to announce that ICCIE core courses will be accepted as electives in the prestigious RIMS Fellow program, beginning in November. The relationship with RIMS is yet another sign that ICCIE has gained acceptance in the risk management universe as the recognized education program of the captive industry.

 

In addition, ICCIE is proud to announce five new ACI recipients in July. They are:

 

Bernard Deschamps, Executive Vice President, Willis Canada;   

    

 

Adam Forstot, Vice President of USA Risk Intermediaries, LLC;

 

Belinda Fortman, Account Manager, USA Risk Group; and

 

Jennifer Hawkins, Assistant Vice President, USA Risk Group

 

Kathleen Morrison, Vice President of Operations, Sawyer Foster Insurance Services, LLC.

 

In addition, regulators from two more important domiciles D.C. and Hawaii -- have agreed to serve on ICCIE's Captive Regulators' Advisory Council (C-RAC) . C-RAC will meet on a periodic basis to provide input to the ICCIE Board and staff on potential improvements to ICCIE's Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) program, focusing primarily on curriculum content. In addition to the D.C. and Hawaii regulators, the initial participants on C-RAC will be representatives from Arizona , Barbados , Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Nevada , S. Carolina , and Vermont . The committee will convene for the first time later this year.
